View Full Version : Did you go Administrator 07-31-2006, 07:11 AM to the Sonoma County Fair?! daisydoc 07-31-2006, 12:55 PM not yet! going on thursday with my parents and my brother and his family. might go tomorrow with James and the kids if he can get off work early. YA RIGHT!!! ;) jellybeanmichelle 07-31-2006, 05:51 PM I ran into Danielle and Makayla at the fair. Their computer is not hooked up yet due to their move. Lynette 07-31-2006, 09:20 PM We went this afternoon, ALL the rides were only a dollar so I think that is even a better deal than the wristband not to mention not a lot of people. We saw Guy Fieri there with his family and people were coming up to him so they couldn't walk very far without someone stopping him. We ended up eating a bunch of junk of course and Alaina had her first bit of cotton candy. She got it all over the place and she decided to use her head to wipe her hands off. She learned the word "goat" and was petting anything with four legs that would hold still :) Administrator 07-31-2006, 09:29 PM how cool! Sounds like you guys had fun! Probably won't be till Thurs! Doulamoon 08-01-2006, 01:43 PM Went to the fair last week. Dinner then went through the flower show. Ran into grammar/highschool friends that was a blast from the past to go along with my reunion coming up at the end of the week. We went through the main pavilion and then headed home. I don't think my DH will be making it this year! :( becky 08-03-2006, 12:58 PM we decided to go again on monday since its only $1 for a ride. The girls are excited now. SOmehow we missed the kiddy rides the first time we went. daisydoc 08-04-2006, 10:43 AM Went yesterday and Sevannah had a blast! She danced to whatever band was playing outside Grace Pavilion; learned how to throw pennies into the foutains in the flower show; pet a dozen or so cows; watched a chicken lay an egg; rode the pony; and went on the kiddie rides no problem! When it was time to leave she cried b/c she wanted to ride more rides! I think I'm going to try to take her one more time so she can ride more rides. It was so great to see her having so much fun! We went a few times. I got a few free tickets because I entered so many things. I was HUGE preggers though, so the hot temps made me feel like I was going to melt. We also went to the races! MAN! That was FUN! If you haven't been it is a great time. We are going to take Mav this year too. |
