verified, but not paid

Hey- while the site was down my membership lapsed, so technically right now I am verified but not paid. I can't use a lot of the paid features right now (pictures, avatar, PMs) and am waiting to hear from Sara about how to renew my membership while no new memberships are being allowed for the time being.

Anyways... the point of this ramble is that I am still able to view the "Private" threads. I thought they were changed so you had to be paid and verified. Don't get me wrong- I'm glad to still be able to participate, but I'm worried that the security may not be as tight as we think.

i think with your case when your memerbship goes up th admins have to take away your senior membership privleges themselves.....i know thats what happened with me but i could be wrong..

If you look at your user CP Steph, you will see that you are a member of the senior + verified group. That would explain why you can still see the private forums.

I am verified but not paid, and I can't see the private section. I can see peoples avatars and siggies though, and the photo album and playdate sections.

That's as it should be, Danielle... Since you're verified you can see the photos/avatars and playdates.

I'm thinking what happened is that when we created the new permissions, Colleen, you must have been paid at the time so you were manually added to that group just like everyone else who was paid/verified. Now that your paid membership is expired, you'd have to be manually removed.
