I noticed "The Soap Box" doesn't specify what it is when you are looking at all the forums.

Can you clarify "registered member" a bit? Is that someone who has signed up online only but after you have approved them and they submitted an intro?
Marisa

Lynette, That's exactly right. They have made it thru the initial registration, been approved for membership and posted an introduction to the group.
Soap box has been turned "off" for the time being (since before the PD article) so currently no one has permission to view it. :)

I am confused then, why is the soap box turned off? I mean, technically if someone was going to rattle the coop they could do it in any ol' forum so is it special in some way or are you doing something new with it? Just wondering :D

:yeah
Also just wondering why it was blocked? Cause isn't that a good place to post "soap box" issues? rather than taking something too hot into another forum? ;)
Personally I have nothing to add to that forum currently anyway....but still just wondering. :)

:rofl No sorry I had said that I had just posted in soap box because that what I though the thread said. Then after I typed it here I went back to check and I was wrong. I didn't have anything else to fill in there.

I honestly don't know Jackie's intentions behind it... maybe she was planning on removing something and hadn't gotten a chance yet. She's pretty incommunicado right now so I just want to be on the safe side until I can ask. It will most likely be turned back on.

Oh ok, I had thought you and Sara had bought the site and were running it alone now so thought it was something you two were doing.

Well, we *are* running it but it came that way so I wanted to double check her reasoning before just opening it back up.

Okay, I am a bit confused, I don't see half of these forums (the public ones) Am I missing something? For instance I would like to locate the arts & crafts, is it a subforum somewhere and I am just being blonde about it? hehe

Here is the Arts & crafts forum. Sometimes it takes a while for the system to change you from registered member to Jr. member. Maybe if you go back to the home page and refresh you will be able to see more stuff :)
