I remember you made a stone thing with your kids handprints in it for the grandparents I think it was... well... I tracked dh's father's day gift and it's expected to arrive Monday. So I was thinking of making him one of those with Little Eman's handprint, but I don't know what to pour the concrete plaster stuff in. What did you use?
Anyone else have pointers? This is going to be me and little Eman's Saturday project. I want it to be cute. Is one day long enough for it to dry??

We got some kits to make them for Christmas from a friend and I think she got them at Michael's or Jo Ann's. Good luck!

Those hand print kits are on sale at Michael's this week. If you mix your own cement or plaster, you can get one of those things that go on the bottom of a plant, to keep the water from leaking out... I'm sure they have an official name but ya know... However, for $10 (I believe that is the sale price) I would go with the kit.

A few days to dry!! :(
I have a kit thing... It's in a square box. I've actually had it for more than a year and it is still in the bag form Michael's :bag
I just need to figure out what to pour it in to make a circle. I could use a plant drainer but will it come out if I do???

Doesn't the kit have everything you need? I thought the one that we bought had the mold in it. A plant drainer will work though... Scott wrecked the first mold he had and bought a plant drainer as a back up.
