View Full Version : Great deal at Costco
I went to Costco yesterday and they started getting their Christmas toys in already. They have a great deal on a tent, tunnel and teepee combo from Ryan's Room. It is less than $20 (dont' remember the exact price) and if you look online, each peice is usually about $20. I am going to get one for Jacob maybe for his birthday since a friend of ours has a tent & tunnel and he loves to play with it.
Just FYI :upthumb

I saw that too this week and thought about getting it too. They have some great deals. I just picked up a pack of 120 Mega Blocks for Myah for about $15 and for Kayla i picked up a pack of toy pots and pans and a bake set, both for $10 each.

I noticed that the RP Costco has the Carter's blanket sleepers for sale already. Caden is to big to fit in them this year, sniff but I think they are a pretty good buy as they are such great quality.

If you are looking for Carter's stuff there is no better place to go than the outlet mall in Petaluma. They have a Carter's store there that I went to last week and picked up two pairs of overalls with matching shirts for $6.87 (combined total)!!!

You have to hit a good sale at that Carter store. I've been there before when it would be cheaper to buy carter stuff else where. Sometimes I've hit Ross and they have had a good selction for really good prices. But Ross is hit and miss.

OMG i so need to go there. I went back in March with my mom when she came up to visit and we found some great deals. She just went to the one in Los Angeles and said it was horrible. Anyone up for a field trip?

I dunno, the last time I was there is was SOOOOOO smelly in there! I found a couple of super cute things but they just reaked of chemicals I had to wash them twice before I let Alaina wear them. I dunno why it was like that because the Osh Kosh place didn't smell?
I do need to go back soon though because Salina is all into Aeropostale right now and we haven't gone school shopping yet.

Weird... I didn't hink it smelled bad... Of course we also washed everything before putting on my little prince. I think when I was there they were getting rid of a lot of the summer stuff, so that is why there are good deals right now. Obviously you could save yuorself a lot of $ if you bought stuff in bigger sizes for next summer though!
Has anyone gotten tires from costco? LOL. Someone once told me that they do free patch jobs on their tires or something. and jr got a flat tire this morning :(

I got a bib for B once from there (carters) and it smelt musty. I had to wash it before i let him use it and i'm typicaly not as anal about washing bibs before use as i am with clothes.

Costco will only repair the tire for free if you bought the tire there.
Other wise, I took mine to Les Schwab and they fixed the hole for like $10.
yeah. jr needs new tires so i'm thinking about going to them for the new ones so that we can take advantage of that whole "free tire fixing" thing. we need atleast 2 new ones :(
i don't know much about tires but the hole is actually IN the valve. NOt the tire. Has anyone had that happen? It's a puncture in the side of the valve.

I also know nothign of tires but when our tire got a flat it was an unrepairable one or something?! We do go to Costco for our tires. They do free rotation and some other perk I have forgot about.

Big O offers free rotation and flat repair. I bought my last set there last fall. Have had flat repaired at least twice by them. And I get the tire rotation done every other oil change which I usually have done at Big O

Carter's store in the outlet mall is great. They have good prices and bargins there. We also go to the Osh Kosh place too. They have more of a selection than Carter's, but both places are good to shop at.

I don't know much about all of that tire and oil stuff. My hubby does all of the work on the cars when they need them(tires, oil changes, etc).
Good Luck.

Sounds like the tire is shot then.
I know I had to get a new tire when I some how sliced the tire wall on a sprinkler head. Took a turn to sharp at Exchange Bank in Rohnert Park years ago. Funny how they can fix a flat tire if it's in the thread, but on the wall, you need a new tire.

My MIL just dropped that very thing off (the tent, tunnels and teepee) off yesterday. It's taken over my livingroom and I've had to tell Austin several times to stop running over Ryan with it. It's not going to last very long in this house because I'm already wanting to throw it out.

Ooh, we bought it too, and Jacey loves it! :D
It does take up a lot of space, but the price is really good, and you can break up the pieces. ;)

My sister got the tent setup for my nephew. He loves it. She asked about getting it for Jules for her birthday but I was like we just don't have room for it.

I think I missed all the threads about the tires... My husband brought my tire over to America's Discount Tire Co. over by Coddingtown. We had to replace the one tire because I had a screw in the side wall... While he was getting that tire though, he was able to buy warranties on ALL of my tires @ $13.00/ea. Then about a month ago I had a slow leak- so I took it back there. Because my tread was too low they couldn't plug the leak... so they gave me a brand new tire for no charge. The only thing I paid was $11.75 - to get a warranty on the new tire. The guy there also told me to come back in about 6mos because my 2 rear tires will most likely need to be replaced and he can replace them under warranty at that time too. If I wouldn't have had the warranty, the one tire would have cost me $98!!

My kids have been eyeballing that since last year. I know they are too big for it though.
Also, I just wanted to add that last year after Xmas I found a great deal of Costco toys at the Costless Outlet in the Padre Parkway Center on Commerce & Expressway. For example they had the Leap Pad set that Costco had carried, and it was clearanced at $7. I paid almost $40 for my kids leap pads at Walmart a year before, and that came with less than what Costco's came with. Just a thought for Birthdays and such that may happen after Xmas.
Costless outlet gets a lot of Costco items including electronics and they have some great prices and sales too!
