I'm 99% sure we are going. Little Eman would love it (thanks for the Thomas the Train episode about James and the Red Balloon). Even now he is pointing at the screen saying "banoon, banoon!" Who could say "no" to that?? I'm at work by 6am everyday so 6:30 ain't no thang to me! Just don't try and talk to me if you se eme, I am a grouch in the a.m LOL Stacey 06-19-2008, 04:57 PM Hmm, I was thinking of walking over there Saturday for the Dawn Patrol... but for some reason I didn't think they charged until later in the day. Not sure I want to spend $8 to walk around the park... I'll probably just go for an early morning walk and see the balloons as we're out. Lorah 06-19-2008, 05:16 PM COOL! No way I'm heading that way though from out here. We went in our jammies, brought blankets and breakfast and sat/ate/watched while the balloons filled. It was fun. Colleen&Kail 06-20-2008, 02:19 PM i love this! i used to go with the dawn patrol at 4am. my dad was one of th guys that chased the ballons down in the trucks. Shanta 06-21-2008, 05:26 AM We go every year. It never fails one of the two days (at least) the fog is too low and they don't take off. SO don't get your hopes up too much :) And they do charge from the start fog or no fog. Tho if you walk you don't pay for parking. Also they normally have a play area for the kids. I don't know the cost as Logan was only 6 months last time. |
