I am not sure if this topic has come up yet but tonight as I was ordering water I got to thinking and am curious what kind of water you all drink. Do you prefer one over another? Do you have a favorite brand? Any water snobs (can tell the taste of one over another) out there?

I added a poll for the fun of it. Sorry if i forgot something. I separated TAP (city water) from Well water since to me these are different

I drink Tap water. But I do put it in my Pur filter and keep it in the fridge just to get cold. I can't remember the last time I actually changed the filter.... Windsor water is really good.

Yes, I am a water snob. My fav used to be Calistoga spring but they stopped selling it in the big 2.5 gallons at Safeway so I switched to Arrowhead spring. I can't stand the big whiff of chlorine I get up the nose with our tap water and it does taste different.

um, to me, water is water. as long as it's clear and isn't stinky, i have no problem with it going in my body.
therefore, i did not answer the poll because i would drink any of those. (well, maybe with the exception of well water unless it had a purifier thingy on it because we had well water at my parents and it smelled something awful)

Our water is filtered city water. I can't stand to drink it right from the tap though. It has to to through the filter.

We buy the flats of little individual bottled water from Safeway. Our tap water in our apartment tastes like ass. I wouldn't drink juice that tasted like butthole, so why would I drink water that does, ya know?
At my mom's house they have water filtered through the fridge.

I didn't vote, because it's not multi choice, and I wanted to be fair... LOL... While I prefer spring water, I'm fine with filtered water as long as it's either been in the fridge or is over ice (I like my water super cold ;) )

oops i voted wrong since i wasn't paying attention but I have been on Sparklett's/now alhambra watter since I was in high school. I started getting sick from the tap water that i had to switch. I will drink Arrowhead if i have to but i think I am a bit of a snob myself and now what i like :)

We have a reverse osmosis thing so I drink that. It is basically dead water. Not very good for you (no minerals etc) but not bad for you either!!

We get the costco bottles. We would prefer distilled but they don't sell it in small bottles so we get one of those huge jugs of distilled for the fridge for cooking, etc. and then drink the costco bottles. I just can't drink tap water. If I have to boil something then I use it but if I have to add a cup of water when Im cooking then I use the distilled.

We drink tap. When we move it'll be well water and we are considering installing a reverse osmosis dealy-o.

Tap water here.
I used to drink bottled water. I think it was Crystal Geyser.
But the big gallon price has gone up from .89 cents to $1.14 over the past 6 months.
Tap is free, plus, I don't pay for water - landlord does. :)
Plus, I'm trying to be "green" and save the planet.
If we travel, I do like to have bottled water on hand just incase.

Costco water here too... @ $4 for 35 bottles, it's worth the convenience to me. Plus we recycle all the bottles and deposit those checks in Little Eman's account... so it gives him a little extra (besides our bi-monthly deposits on paydays).

Bottled water if I'm not home (for some reason whenever I drink tap water/restaurant water.. it gives me Moctezuma's revenge)..
I drink filtered Petaluma water at home.. we just changed the filter... after like a year.. :bag

Our well water has better ratings than ANY water in the area! :) IT is also better than the bottled stuff....fewer bacteria count than Arrowhead (which is what I use to drink bottled). WE are on a very small community well that is very well maintained!

We drink well water mostly. My dad recently installed a filtration system at the pump and the water tastes better than any bottled water I have ever tried.

She may have well water in and city sewage (out). I think she said that before that her sewer costs are fairly $$ since she doesn't use the city water supply or something like that. There shouldn't be backflow contamination if that is the case becausee the water isn't going back up the toilet into the tank or up the bath tub pipes for example. It would be the same for the sink, the incoming and outgoing are not the same.
