I would like to send out birth announcements for Sparrow, but I know I'll never get my act together to do anything that takes too much time and DH won't let me do anything that takes too much $$$, so I'm wondering what suggestions you ladies might have for cheap and easy birth announcements? I was thinking of maybe doing them through Costco or Snapfish or somewhere on-line like that. Anyone use any of those websites? Were you happy or unhappy? Thanks in advance!

snapfish has cute little designs you could use :)

WE did our own in Photoshop, and then printed them (4x6) out at costco for .19 cents each, and mailed them out. They give a discount for more than 50, or is it 100? I can't remember, and the price drops to like 12 or 15 cents per pic.

I would use costco if it were me. I don't know if they have envelopes if you upload your own design but they have some cute templates.

I don't know that either. I think if you use their premade designs you do get them, but I'm ot sure.

We only did announcements for Jessie, I think... and then it was just a pack from the dollar tree with some wallet size pics that were printed from Walmart, I think... Now THAT'S cheap... LOL

Try Walgreens.com too. They are the same as snapfish and you can pick them up in an hour.

I did mine at Target...i think they were 39 cents each and they came with envelopes. They have quite a few desings to choose from and I chose 2 pics and did 25 of each. The good thing about physically going in there and doing it is they can lighten the pic on the spot and you can check it out before they run them all.

Good luck!

I didn't do them for either kid... I never got around to it for Lucas, and with Kaylyn I didn't because I felt bad about having not done them for Lucas. So next baby probably won't get them either for the same reason lol.

i just bought some at target that you print out and put together. than we took a picture and printed a whole bunch at costco and put them with the announcements. i don't know how i had so much energy then. i did it all myself. it took about 3 days, but it was finishd before he was even a week old. yikes. it was expensive that way, but definitely tiime consuming, which probably isn't really an option with two.

I went a little over the top with the finished product but really its not that hard. If you need any help let me know. I have made quite a few already so I am happy to help if you need it
