For something small, just basically getting your name out there and what kind of services you offer, I have godaddy.com and it runs about 3.49/mo if you buy 1 year at a time. I'd point you to my site but it's under construction and it's not really what I want to show people yet. But I'm happy with the hosting. It's very cheap and very basic but pretty easy to use. And you can get your own domain name when you sign up for hosting for $1.99

I use GoDaddy too and love it. I have the larger service just so I'm sure to hold all the images on my site. GoDaddy has excellent customer service, the best prices for your value and i couldn't recommend them more.

I have the bronze plan at Canaca http://www.canaca.com/ although I remember it only costing me like $26 last year but maybe I got in on a promotion? I had someone else do my site, I can figure out the tech side for the most part but I am really not creative.

i used go daddy for my wedding website 2 years ago (had it up for about 16 months) and it went down a lot :( They may very well have changed things to fix that problem since then, but since i haven't used them since, *I* can't really say one way or another.

I use 1&1 web hosting for four sites:

their prices are the best i've seen recently.
(the beginner package is $2.24 a month and that includes 1 free domain name.) You even get a free blog (business blogging is SUPER popular right now with customers) and although i don't use it (I got typepad before they started offering blogging) it looks pretty good.
