Earth Last Days

Did anyone happen to watch the 20/20 special last night about the 7 possible ways the earth will come to an end? It was very interesting. Of course number 1 was global warming but they also listed other things like the:

7-Star blowing up,
6-black holes,
5-commet hitting the earth,
4-robots/technology getting smarter than humans and killing us all,
3-super volcanos,
2-nuclear bombs,
1-global warming.

Wow i can't believe i remembered the order. It was a very interesting show. I might get it on DVD.

I personally like to live in ignorance and assume that the world will never end :)

I'm not sure i would want to know either. I dont know what i would do if i did. The only one that we get any kind of real warning is that in 2029 a commit is expected to hit the earth. That is too close for my life time. They say no one will survive. I hope they have tracked it wrong and thier calculations are off.

i thinkt eh comet will probably hit in 2029, but i also think that it will slow down and substantially break apart before it hits and it'll probably just be off in a desert somewhere like all the other little ones we've had.

I personally like the idea of technology getting too smart. LOL

I like number 4 too Jackie! LOL! I wouldn't think they would include that though, like it is too "out there"? Where they just saying how the world would end or people in general?

for the most part they are saying the world will end. earth will be distroyed and live will no long existed on earth except for bacteria.

Since my kids "will be" graduating high school in 2022 and 2024, a comet ending life and the earth as we know it in 2029 is waaaayyyyy too soooon for comfort! That's crazy!
