Help Please!!!!

This is totally last minute but can anyone think of an area or park that is full shade mid morning/early afternoon. Its for a newborn shoot i have tomorrow.

if so isn't that park on D street (i think it is on that street) is pretty shaded

really any place between here and petaluma is fine. The only place i can think of is RR Square which has a spot i like when i get these kinds of requests but am not seeing that working the way I want for a newborn.

Walnut park (thats on D street and Petaluma Blvd.) is shaded However it is on a busy street so it might be loud. Oak Hill park has shade on the grass / swings/ and picnic areas. It is where Logan and I go all the time. It is I think (since we walk I don't look at the street sings) Bodega to Oak 1 block up the hill. If you pass the French restraint you have gone 1/2 a block too far.

There is another one I like but I can't remember the name or the cross street... If I get the itch to go for a fast drive I will add it

Olive Street Park in SR has lots of shade. It's close to RR square... kind of behind the newer hotel by the freeway.

i will have to look that up. I like the idea that Olive St Park in near RR Square so i have some variety

I totally forgot about Hidden Valley Park...I haven't been there in ages.

Bond Park in Petaluma has lots of full trees that shade really well.

hmmm not sure...but man my kids would have never been able to handle an outdoor shoot as newborn, you are gettin lucky with these flexible newborns, letting you prop them on bird baths and being unclothed outside...to get the newborn shots of skye and sawyer we were indoors and they had to have a heater fan blowing on them! Beasts

I think I am lucky i have parent willing to let me play with their newborns outside. It helps it was a warm day. i gotta take advantage of the warm weather while i can cuz once fall comes along outdoor newborn sessions are not likely to happen.

We shall see how sophia does. I hope she doesn't fuss to much.

I heard on the news tonight it's supposed to be cooler than today, tomorrow.

when i got in the car after work it was only 68 in my car!

luckily we will have lots of blankets for sophia. she does not like being naked so that is a whole new challenge all by itself
