I GOT A :bfp!!

I decided to get a First Response when we went grocery shopping since that's what I got my BFP's with the kids with, and I was using those test strips from online before today.

It's a BFP!!! YAY!!!

I told myself this would be the time I told him in some super cool way... But no... I ran out of the bathroom "I think I'm pregnant!"

At first the test was only showing the control line, and the positive line was taking longer to appear so I thought it was a negative and was getting sad. Then after about 30 seconds (from the time I actually dipped it in the pee) the positive started showing up so I was just too excited to hold it in!

He's happy and excited, but not as excited as me because he already thought I was and I didn't. So it's less shocking to him lol. He's still a little surprised that it happened the first try again, especially since we only DTD once (not that it takes more than once, but YKWIM), but he had a feeling!

I'm shooting for the 15th like the other two, but not sure if I'll be able to go thaaaat early. I'll be needing a repeat C and I don't think a doctor would take me before 38 weeks.

Really? not that births from 27, and 24 years ago really matter now as examples....but 2 of the 4 of us bio siblings were not emergency-C's, my brother Jason was scheduled for 36 weeks, and my brother Adam was scheduled for 37 weeks.

Faith and I were emergency-C's at 32 weeks and upper 20's weeks range (she was 3 months early).

You could always ASK!!!!!! There is no harm in asking! Are both the other two born on the 15th of a month?

I'll definitely ask! I think it'd be a fun trend to follow, since yup, both the other two are on the 15th! Lucas was born the 15th and then Kay was born on the 15th, also.

Kaylyn is December (she was due the 28th, but had a C at 38 weeks) and Lucas is September (he was due the 30th, but I went into labor at 37 weeks)

WOW, so if you have this one one March 15th, then all three kids birthdays will be within 3 months of each other....good spacing! Now just one more for June 15th and you'll have a birthday for each quarter year... ;)

lol don't tempt me! I do want a 4th (and maybe 5th) but Brian says this is the last (we'll see about that lol). But it'd be way cool to have a baby in each season

So we have em all covered... even have 2 in winter! lol (then you toss Matt in Jan and me in June in, and we've got the whole year pretty much covered with just a few gaps in there ;) )

Yup, March 31st!

HEY! That was my due date for the twins (but they came early, March 11)... maybe you will have twins..... ha...ha.....

You are taking me down memory lane, it was this time last year that we found out we were FINALLY prego after 3 years of TTC. I am soooo happy for you. This will be a good time of the year to be prego not too hot and you can layer up in snuggly clothing in Dec. YEAH!!!!! I am so happy 4 U! (oh I already said that...

We're going to find out, I think. I would LIKE to wait and be surprised... But I don't think I have the will power lol.

Chinese gender predictor was right for one kid, and wrong for the other so I'm not sure if I believe it... But so far I'm not having MS, and I didn't with Kaylyn either (but did with Lucas) so I'm thinking maybe girl? I'm not sure lol. But I seem to be drawn more towards boy stuff, though that could also be my desire for a boy.

lol I took a total of 4... The 2 First Responses, and 2 test strips. The 2 FR yesterday, 1 strip yesterday, and 1 this morning. I'm lame lol. With Lucas I took 3 in one night (all 1 hour apart). With Kaylyn, I took 2 within a couple of hours of each other.

In the picture, the lighter line one is the first test, and the darker line one is the second test.you are not lame at all. I did that too with all my kiddos. It was almost like I was afraid that somehow the previous test was wrong or it would change so i kept taking them. :)

In September we'll be moving to Sacramento because DH will be going to school there. But he'll be done in January 2010 so we'll move back as soon as he's done. Plus I'll still be coming to Sonoma County about 2 days a week, give or take depending on the week. You guys are stuck with me!

I don't think I really believed the doc when she said my blood test was positive, so I took a few tests at home. Then I believed!
