View Full Version : Casino pop ups?? Lynette 09-12-2006, 08:51 PM Is anyone else having casino ad pop ups when they try to come to this site? I use Explorer and when I opened it today it had alphabetized my bookmarks and inserted the standard folders which I had deleted and now whenever I click on this site I get casino ads popping up? Is it just me? LMS 09-12-2006, 10:22 PM that sounds a lot like a virus. I's search for AVG virus protection. That's what I have and I have no problem. I also recommend to ALL of our users to look into downloading Firefox. It's as user friendly as IE, but is much better at protecting you from viruses. Lindsay 09-13-2006, 01:05 PM I agree with Jackie -it's not the website you have a virus. I've had that one before. Popups appear reagardless of what site you go to-- even if you're not on a site at all they will show up! :O I use Norton and it seems to be working well. Also Mozilla/Firefox does do a pretty good job of preventing pop ups. Though that browser is a little buggy in other respects. |
