What is/are your favorite Summer Olympic Event(s)?

Vote for one or many... which events will you be watching this year?

I like the Gymnastics, but we don't have a tv right now, so I just read about it in the news. :giggle

I'm in the same boat. :(

Usually I am an avid follower of swimming, gymnastics (only girls though), and beach volleyball.

Is there supposed to be a poll to vote on? I don't see one?

I use to practice Judo. I LOVE throwing people! I got really good at it in college! I advanced 3 belts too! ;)

what about opening ceremonies? Just sitting through the whole darn thing deserves a medal.

Dang, that must have taken a long time to put in the poll :giggle

We love the olympics, and since it comes on at 8:00, we watch it when the kiddos are in bed.

I'm certainly missing sleep. The men's team gymnastics last night were so good. I was recording it but ended up watching it till about 12:45am because I couldn't sleep without knowing.
The poll is missing beach volleyball. Gotta love our May/Walsh team.

My claim to fame is that I played against Kerri Walsh in high school and dug a hit she made at me. I am not kidding when I say the hit was straight down and if I wasn't right there no one would have been able to dig it :)

That's cool! I can see you playing volleyball. Is she from Marin? What school?

What I meant to say is that I was lucky she hit it at me or else I wouldn't have been able to get it :D

I've watched about 15 minutes of the Olympics so far and only that much because Scott was watching Judo and women's weightlifting (was that on the poll? :lol ) on the Korean channel when I got home on Saturday night. Why was he watching on the Korean station you wonder (like I did)? It was the only station that had on the events he wanted to see :lol

She went to school in San Jose, we were at the same tournament as them and my College roommate went to school with her.

I know!! What makes me mad though, is they are time delayed by 3 hours so the people on the east coast get to see it live, but we have to stay up all night!! If they played it live for us I would be so much more rested :giggle

Tonight is the Women's gymnastic's Individual, and the TV schedule says it's on tonight from 8pm until 1am. Where as the last few nights it was on until midnight. WTH? I hope they show the gym early in the program.

We only get a few channels, so we don't watch them (not that we normally would anyways.. but at least I have a valid excuse this season! LOL)

My DVR is almost full! I can't keep up. Now I'm taping the news after the olympics since it keeps running over.
