Do your kids watch Oobi?

My girls love that show. Kayla and Myah like to play the secret handshake scene in the car with each other which is so hilarious to listen too and see. Shelsea loves to seeing the intro song. Tonight she is sitting on my lap and starts to imitate the secret hand shake scene. it took me a while to figure out what was going on but then i realized she is saying "ooooohhhh High Five!!!" and claps her hands.

They watch it once in a great while. I hate how they talk using such bad English. It just sounds dumb because even kids learning to talk don't sound like that. But, I have to admit, they like watching those silly hands!

they way they talk drives me nuts but they love watching the talking hands too. the stories are cute though

Caden used to be really into that show but I think he liked the theme music as much as anything.

it really used to creep me out too until myah got really into it. now since all the girls watch it i can see the cuteness in it and why the girls like it. I still can't get used to the foot character though. that is a little over the top for me

Neil is freaked out by it so he has pretty much banned it in our house and I agree with the lame way they speak ...I mean they are portrayed as adults in some of the hands and they still talk lame...i can understand the tellitubbies talking baby talk becaus ethey look like overgrown babies but whan one is named grampoo and still says one words sentences and broken up speech makes me not want to expose her to such poor speach since she is learning how to talk and all...she also has never been super into that show though...she is more a gabba gabba girl hehe
