new places in downtown Windsor

Today Jackson and I took a LONG stroll to and around the Windsor Town Green.

First we went to Copperstone Coffee Co. They're new and just doing a soft opening right now. I ordered a mocha (1/2 caff, non-fat, no whip...yes, I am a PITA). It was so good! And all their coffee is organic. They charged me $2!!! I think it may have been a mistake though, no way can you get good coffee that cheap! They also had fresh baked blueberry scones for $0.50. They are to die for! The girl also told me that they'll be selling fresh pizza by the slice at lunch time.

Then, after a trip to the library and an eternity at the playground, I had to stop by The Green Grocer to pick up a lemon for dinner. I ended up grabbing a couple other things before looking at the sandwich menu... I HAD to have the smoked turkey, bacon, fontaina, & spinach panini. It was SO FLIPPING good! They had a little kid area in there so Jackson played with blocks and cars while I sat at one of their tables and ate.

So anyway, I highly recommend trying out both of these places :)

A mocha for $2 and scones for 50 cents? that is awesome, and your sandwhich sounds so good!
Have you tried the Vietnamese place by Powell's? it's really good.

The one by the pub? I always wanted to buy shoes there but they were SO expensive! Pint Size (the kids shoe store) is moving from their spot near Omlette Express to a spot on the North side of the square. There is also a Kelidescope Toys opening up this weekend (I think) next to the new Pint Size.

I walked by a clothing store (Addiction Clothes I think...). They had a 30% off sale rack outside. There was the georgous white skirt.... for $229!!!! WTF!!?!?!


And, yes, the Vietnamese place is YUMMY!

The shoes store was expensive but they had nice things. I think I have seen the Clothes store you are talking about...their prices are crazy expensive! Have you tried Susan's Basement in Healdsburg??? They have great sales!
