Anyone have props i can borrow?
I recently finished a birthday party invitation which looks like a treasure map. I want to take a photoshoot of the invitation but need some props. I can't seem to find the right stuff to use as props to place around the invitation so i thought i would take a chance and ask you all.
What i'm looking for is stuff you would find in a treasure chest. Maybe costume jewelry, gold coins, gold necklaces (fake gold of course). I really don't have anything so i was wondering if you have any ideas or items i can borrow for an afternoon.
You can see the invite from the home page on my website. It really looks shitty all by itself on the homepage so i want to take a better photo.

HHmmmm... I'll have to look around. Good news... I already had planned on going through all of our crap to sort stuff out for a garage sale this next weekend that we're doing wtih my WHOLE family so the chance I find something that might work for you is high!

Way cool Anna. I really appreciate it. My step mom gave me a bunch of iteas but didnt know where i could find the stuff for the photoshoot. I guess that is what moms are for huh?

I have the whole pirate outfit. Wig w/beads, gun or knife? I can't remember which one. I also have some small pirate guys that I use to put on cakes.

the beads and knife would work. I jsut want to place a few items near the invitation to complete the feeling of it being a treasure map and the party theme is pirates.

We have a wooden treasure chest. It needs to be put together still, but it's small and you're welcome to use it. :)

I have 3 or 4 small treasure chests that I used for Lucca's b-day party. I think I even left the chocolate covered coins and the fake jewels in them. I have been just moving them from place to place, because I have no need for them. Let me know if you want them. I have to work T,W so won't make it to either playdate, but am in SR often so we could work something out.
