Wow, I kept thinking about this since the MNO and I'm SO relieved to hear everything is so great! (I have Mikes Hard Lemonade that I can bring too, HAHAHAHA! Who wants a Mike-a-rita!?) daisydoc 09-28-2006, 09:39 PM I do please! :tongue LOL I was going to say I could bring champagne but with 3 nursing mammas and one prego mamma I thought the non-alcoholic would be better. ;) alowe 09-28-2006, 10:28 PM You are all very funny. I've had a few drinks lately, believe me. Probably the last thing I should be doing, but a glass of wine or champagne can really calm the nerves. Thanks for the shared excitement see you all tomorrow. Lynette 09-28-2006, 10:58 PM YAY!!!! You are actually the second person in two days that I have heard of who came back with "no cancer" result! Must be in the air :) becky 09-28-2006, 11:03 PM that is awesome news. WE will definately have to toast tomorrow. alowe 09-29-2006, 08:47 AM Well Lynette I am glad that that is the vibe in the air. There are just so many people out there now days with cancer, cancer scares, survivors etc. It just sucks. My sister and I have both been going through this for the last year. She has been battling abnormal thyroid cells, which she found out about while she was pregnant and couldn't do anything about. She is in a hold pattern right now, so they are just monitoring for now. We are just thankful we both are coming out of this, because it is pretty random for two sisters to face this at the exact same time. becky 09-29-2006, 09:47 AM Wow Angela, I know what you mean. My mom is a cancer nurse so she sees it all the time. Cancer hits a bit to close to home for us though. WHen i was pregnant we found out my husbands sister had breast cancer. On Kayla's first birthday we found out his oldest sister had cancer in her hip. About a year later his other sister came down with a rare form of luciemia that can not be cured. About a year later his dad came down with prostate cancer and jsut over a year ago (right before we moved up here) his other sister came down with breast cancer. My husband is the youngest of 6 kids and so far all 4 of his sisters have gotten cancer and his dad which only leaves my husband, his brother and mom left. We think its only a matter of time they get it too but my god its scarey. My heart goes out to you and your sister. Marisa 09-29-2006, 10:25 AM Angela, that is great news!! :yahoo I won't be there today to toast so here's my contribution... :grouphug I wish you the best of health and happiness from here on out! |
