I wasn't sure where to post this, but was wondering if any of you Sebastopudlians were part of a moms group that would welcome a new member or were interested in starting one? I have a 6-month old son and would love for him to get used to being around other kids, since he doesn't have siblings/go to daycare/etc. We live near enough to walk to the local parks, so meeting in one of them would be fun, and I don't work most Tuesdays/have a flexible schedule...

Kari (aka kariclose) is the head of a Sebastapool mom's club. I've gone w/ her to play groups a couple of times (even though I'm not from Sebastapol) & the ladies are very nice and welcoming to new women. If you PM her, she should be able to give you some details about play groups in the area.
Just so you're aware, we have members from Sebastopol here as well who are always looking for playdates ;)
