It's super easy. Ingredients: ~1lb meat (turkey or ground beef both work great) 2 cans (16oz) kidney beans (sometimes I'll also add black beans) 1 can (16 oz) stewed tomatoes 1 can (6oz) tomato paste 2 Tablespoons EACH chili powder and dried onion (but sometimes I use less dried onion and instead use fresh) 1/2 teaspoon EACH garlic powder, oregano, cumin, paprika, black pepper, kosher salt 1.5 - 2 cups water Brown meat. Add remaining ingredients. Stir. Cook over medium heat 15-30 minutes. Garnish with cheddar cheese. (I like to cook it longer to really let the flavors blend. I usually bring it to a boil then keep it on low for at least an hour. Today I browned the meat and then threw it all in the crockpot.) Maritza 09-16-2008, 02:01 PM That sounds sooo yummy!!! becky 09-16-2008, 02:01 PM ooh that sounds wonderful. I have most of those ingredients too. Thanks for sharing Stacey I can't wait to try it.
