View Full Version : Anyone been to Babies R Us around here? becky 10-04-2006, 06:52 PM i would really love to register at Babies R Us sometime before christmas since i dont think it will be wise to travel so far if i get put on bed rest in my third tri-mester. Have any of you been to the one in Marin City? I asked them about registering there bt ultimtely decided not to because Target and Baby Depo thad all the stuff I wanted. There is also Baby News on Santa Rosa Ave that has quite a bit of stuff. I think the one in Marin has more stuff, I have heard they carry the whole Britax line for example... I would hope "babies r us" has more stuff then the small section in TRU. We need a new car seat soon and I am thinking BRU would have a nice selection. One thing I *just* remembered re:baby depot since Keisa mentioned them, is they apparently no longer allow returns on car seats even for defects and even still in box never opened (like if you got doubles at your shower or from the g'parents) so BD is not the place to get a car seat really, not that you were planning to. That's where we registered in texas b/c it was right now the street. I'm SO bummed there isn't a clsoer one here b/c I was literally there every week. I LOVE Babies R us becky 10-04-2006, 09:22 PM I love BRU too. I actually had a choice of 3 to go to down in LA and was there all the time. That is were i went to check out the best of the best stuff there was for baby KWIM. I really want to take a trip down there to register and get ready for baby. And the nice thing about BRB is that Lynette is right, people can buy from the registery at TRU too. It is like one stop shopping for babies. They have ten different types of everything. meeg124 10-05-2006, 12:03 AM I registered online with BRU when I was pregnant.
