yes. i have so much i want to say about this and what was said imply in that article but i may scream.

thought it was far enough away from the creek my ass. it's a huge leg of the creek, affecting it in such a huge way (and it was huge) is going to affect the entire creek dumbass.

as far as the flooding goes...well, i'll never have to worry about my parents home flooding again thanks to what he's done, but on the same note we've survived the past few bad storms that flooded their pastures without a problme. ya it was hard and scary, but would we have gone and dug out the creek? no.

on a happier note about this, there were river otters in it the other day :) so i guess not all is lost.

honestly, i am glad rob is being charged criminally. i know he knew that he was not supposed to do this for many reasons, not that i'm comfortable sharing them specifically. and to make it better, he still has been working on that land, just not to that extreme. he's been paying my brother to work on his land for him.

i guess i have plenty of personal reasons to be mad at this man specifically, but it is so sad what it has done to the land back there, but aside from that what he did was so wrong. i know becky went trecking through spots i haven't been for years with me for some pictures, and i remember making a comment that that area used to be lucious and green and is now all dead and brown :(

gosh i totally remember you telling me that nicole. i just hope that over time that the creek comes back to what it used to be (even if its just a little) I hope this guy pays for what he has done
