All my friend keep IMing me asking if i'm okay b/c supposedly Sonoma county had an earthquake.... i was at the dmv and felt nothing.... did anyone else feel something?

They were centered 39 miles away, we are good to go for now :) becky 10-20-2006, 03:36 PM well a 4.5 is large enough to bring on the after shocks but its really not that big at all. Nothing we would feel around here. Everyday there are a bunch of smaller quakes and we dont feel them. It not until they are at least a 3 that would notice if we were not doing anything and that would have to be in our own town. For a quake to be felt at this distance away it would need to be at least a 5 somthing or higher. No worries Jackie, you didn't miss anything. LMS 10-20-2006, 03:53 PM I was thinking What the heck? I was standing up, taking my DL test... and all of a sudden i get a call from germany saying i had an earthquake? LOL Lynette 10-21-2006, 09:41 AM That's funny because I was at work and my monitor started wiggling like someone was stomping around but I didn't feel anything and no one was nearby so I thought about an earthquake for a second and then forgot about it. |
