Kaisa: it'll start back up after the World Series. I hate this time of year b/c just as everyone gets into the main stories for the season they go away for 3 wks for freakin baseball!

Kaisa - I think it is because of the baseball playoff's. Once the series is over, it will be back to normal.

Figures. I'm so sick of baseball. The only time I ever watch it is if I am trying to fall asleep.

They do it again in March for March Madness college basketball. Sooo lame, football manages to stick to the weekends, why can't everything else!

BTW- just have to share I got the DVR box from comcast which is like Tivo and I *love* it!!! I'm not missing things like before if Alaina wakes up and it can record an entire series if it is on too late. Gotta love technology :)

Yeah, the same thing is happening with Prison Break right now. It should start back up again Monday night. I love House, great show. Lynette I get my DVR on Friday. I am so excited.

i love my DVR...the only bad thing is that it will only save shows for a month and then it erases. Oh and once the memory is full it will erase stuff you have saved to make room for the new. I hate it when that happens. I have had mine for a year and still can't figure out how to tape something from the DVR.

Becky- is yours a Comcast one? I don't remember seeing that it would erase after a month but good to know if they are the same. I have noticed a couple of glitchy things like I recorded a show but didn't see it on the menu but then it was there a couple of days later and sometimes when I fast forward through commercials is gets stuck....but then those could be operator error too :D

ours is through Comcast. They didn't tell us either and i didnt find out until much later. I think the worst time we had was when we saved Blue's Baby Brother on the DVR. Once a month past it was gone. Myah was devistated.

And Victor saved all the episodes of the Henry Rollins Show and again, after a month they were gone. I'm still annoyed about that one.

If your box is erasing stuff after a month, I don't think you have a real DVR or maybe there is some setting you can change on it? I have a DVR from our satellite company and have episodes of Sesame Street from months ago on it. It has a hard drive, just like your computer and is supposed to be pretty easy to add more memory to it. But once you open the box, it will void the warranty on the box.

I should have a real DVR, am paying 5 bucks a month for it from Comcast. there might be a setting i need to change so i will have to look into that.
