Does anyone have one? How do you like it? What are the pros and cons?
I am thinking of getting one for Myah since she is really into taking pics right now and they are not too terribly expensive. Plus i love that its waterproof too so I don't have to worry about it getting wet.

We have last year's model that Alaina got for Christmas. The thing I don't like is the batteries seemed to wear out fast and it takes like 4 AA's at a time. The view screen is really grainy compared to my camera and it is big and chunky for her hands so Alaina still gravitates to mine :rolleyes

:yeah to Lynette. My mom got the boys one last Christmas and it kinda sucks. You almost can't tell what the picture is some times. I don't know if the pics themselves stink or if it is just the screen resolution. And it does seem to eat through batteries.

We have last year's model too, Caden got it for his birthday in February. No problem with the batteries but I agree about the view screen... it's tiny and grainy. Caden really likes it and takes tons of pictures of with it.

We bought the new one last month for Disneyland. I agree about the batteries, they wear out way too fast. It is also pretty grainy but its kind of what I was expecting. Its only like 1.5 megapixels. I figure it was more for her to have fun with than to get great pictures from.
If you go on flickr and do a search for kid tough camera some people have posted their kids pictures on there.

oh yeah! That sure does make some grainy pics...but like you said Kathleen...it's not to produce great quality...it's more for fun :D
Do you have an old digital camera that you don't use any more? We have Faith an old one when she was 3 and it has worked out well.

i do have an old one but until i get another pocket camera i only let kayla use it. Myah is really into taking pics so i was thinking of getting her one. Maybe it would be better off just getting her a inexpensive digital one. I know i have seen them for about $40 before.

For the same price you can get the one by Disney which was on the "best toys for x-mas list ages 2-5"
I was researching it for Logan last week.
