Not about reading, but writing...

I wasn't really sure where to put this, so I picked here ;)

So, going off of reading, does anyone like to write? I'm talking poetry, short stories, novels (and no, I'm not counting papers for school ;))?

I *love* to write pretty much everything. I was an avid poetry writer in high school (really, what preeteen/teenage girl didn't write a poem here or there?), and in jr. high actually wrote a short story which was along the lines of Christopher Pike's work (I read a lot of his stuff in jr. high :giggle).

I have this itch to write again, and told Matt to get me some pens/pencils and notebooks for Christmas :giggle

Now, I am not very good at sentance structure or paragraphing (hmm.. is that a word? Does it mean what I want it to here? LOL) but I just LOVE writing. Matt writes a bit, also, but mostly songs.

I was just wondering if anyone else likes to write...

I am not really into it, I like to Im and post does that count...I was one of those girls that was NOT a poet...call me crazy...I was way more into painting, sculpting, drawing and the like...

I only write when I am super-duper upset..then I write angst-ridden dark poetry that reeks of pity-party fodder.

used to love it. still would if i had time. it just doesn't seem to fit into my life nowadays. i was signed up for a creative writing class before i knew i was pregnant with wyatt. i never ended up taking it :(

Yep. I do. I have poetry, shorts stories, and I've been working on an autobiography and cookbook for a few years now....someday they will be finished :lol

I used to be a really big writer in high school and college, but since I entered the work world it has kind of fallen by the wayside. I've written poems, "short stories" - I was a journalism major for the two years I was in college.

i love to write! it's my favorite thing to do, aside from reading. i've been trying to get all the writing/reading in i can before the baby gets here. are you working on anything special at the moment? none of my friends are into writing, so i'd love to know someone else who enjoys it.

I have a few ideas at the moment, haven't actually *started* anything yet... I'm thinking fictional romance ... I tend to write from a younger point of view (like high school)
