FYI - Kidspot is reopening January 2nd. The new owner is a mom I know. Her name is Danielle. She has been working hard to clean, reorganize, restructure, etc. I hope everyone will check it out in 2009.
For details on hours and pricing call 823-5432.

i was talking with her about her new plans recently and kept meaning to post something. sounds like it's going to be interesting but very different from what it was before. i'm thinking we may pop in tomorrow for the festivites (they're having a big to do all day to celebrate the reopening) but i don't know how wyatt aged friendly it sounds now. guess we'll just have to go in and see!

So they are doing something today? I will have to let the DH know, he is hanging out with Amelia today. He might enjoy that, especially since it is all wet and nasty today.

Do you know if they are closed due to parties on Saturday. Would love a place for Addison tomorrow as Daddy is working.

I really want to hear from someone who went!! Anyone? Anyone?

When I went in a couple days ago to see the progress, it was nowhere near ready. (My business was the same before we opened but I had tons of help) I've been crossing my fingers that Danielle was able to pull it all together.

Nancy - Call to find out about tomorrow. I believe that if someone has a private party booked then it will be closed to the public.
FYI - Playday at My Gym Saturday 10:00-1:00. $5 per child.

Caitlin and I had a playdate there this afternoon. Much of it looks the same as it used to, but they've opened it up a bit more. The front part that used to be the store area is now cut in half, with half going to the overall play area. They no longer have the shadow wall which I know a lot of kids like. And, the craft area is just tables and chairs now, so it doesn't appear they plan to have any crafts going on. But, Caitlin still had a great time there. And, it seems much cleaner than it was before. It seems more open now. They have these two little roller coaster ramps with these push carts, and then they run off to the floor, and Caitlin LOVED these! She went on and on again. I'll definitely go back. Plus, the women who were there running it were really nice and you could tell they want you to come back:)

We went with our playgroup today and the kids had a great time. I'd never been there before so I had nothing to compare it to, but there seemed to be a good variety of activities and something for every age (well, up till maybe 6 or 7). I had all 4 kids today, and in that big of a space it was hard to keep my eye on all of them, but they can't really go anywhere, and it's open, so it wasn't really a problem. The girls loved the jump house, and I thought the rock wall tunnel was cool. I don't know that I would pay the $9 drop in per kid, but since it was only $5 with the playgroup it was definitely worth it. We were there almost 2 hours and the kids didn't want to leave.
