Do you order clothes for yourself online?

If you do, do you order things that you already know the brand or do you take risks?

Do you ever order shoes online?

I buy more clothes for Caden online than I do for myself. But I never buy shoes online, unless I've tried on that same shoe in the store.

I just ordered myself a bunch of stuff from Old Navy online and I love their new site! I don't have the time I need to shop leisurely in the store and I know approximately what sizes I need. I have NO idea what will look good though so I just stuck to basics like jeans and camis. I was considering a pair of shoes from Piper Lime but decided not to because I don't want the hassle in case they don't fit.

I've bought a camel-hair coat on HSN....love it.

When P was a bitty baby I bought clothing lots off Ebay

and I bought a pair of Skechers boots from Shoebuy.com, but like Megan I had already tried them on in the store first.

Shoebuy.com is a great site..they are always e-mailing coupon codes.

I said other because I generally don't buy clothes for me online....but I *did* get some maternity clothes online when I was pregnant with Maverick. It turned out okay. I'd say that Old Navy was the best one for me to use.

I buy tops, coats on line but not pants really. It's hard for me as my waist is so much smaller than the hips, butt and thighs.

I do shop for Addison on line.

For me it depends what I'm looking for. Also what is on slickdeals.net and any deals I can get.

I used ot buy from JJill all the time, but don't anymore, not because I don't like it, but because i can not afford it.

My shopping choices here are limited.... So I have to do my clothing shopping online. I like Old Navy and The Avenue. I just bought a pair of crocs boots from Amazon.

I am somewhere between *never* and *once in a while* so I voted for other. It is so rare that I would order anything, but I can't say i never have. With my ever changing weight it is far to risky to buy clothes I can't try on first.

i shop online a lot. too much actually. it really pisses me off though when stuff doesn't fit, which can be often. for me shoes are easier to buy online than clothes. i tend to buy stuff more online from places that have a store for me to return something to.

I picked other. I have ordered clothes on line before when I had to (a wedding I think?). But I hate not trying stuff on to be sure they fit the way I like them.

I buy online once in a while for me. I like Boden a lot, LLBean, JJill (having good sales right now) and Nordstrom for shoes when I need them:)

I wish I wouldn't buy online or in the stores...I think I have a problem. haha

Old Navy & BR
www.zappos.com for shoes (they are really awesome! always free shipping and they always upgrade you to 1-day)
Socks on amazon....these are my favs!! http://www.amazon.com/Red-Lion-Swirl-Knee-Socks/dp/B0011B5PSO/ref=pd_bbs_11?ie=UTF8&s=apparel&qid=1231466434&sr=8-11

Lots more, but I can't think right now.

those are cute socks liz and totally you :D I never thought of getting socks online but after seeing cute ones like that i will have to reconsider.

I have looked at zappos several times and they are one of the few places that sell the minnetonka styles I like. have you ever had a problem not getting the right size and having to exchange them? That is the only thing that keeps me from buying shoes online

I voted NEVER. I MUST try things on to see if and how they fit.

I tried ordering some things in the past and it didn't work out once, not even from stores that should be a "known quantity" for me. So NEVER any more.

Now, I will buy jewelry, games, books, toys, etc. But NOT clothing/shoes anymore.

I buy most of my clothes online, usually from Banana Republic, Gap and Old Navy. They probably hate me though, because I order a ton of stuff to try on and only keep some of it and send the rest back. I order shoes from Zappos a lot because shipping is free both ways, so, if I don't like them it's no big deal to send them back.

All of the time. I know my measurements, so it's easy to make sure I get things that fit.

Hi Marisa,

I shop online all the time. Win some and lose some. Although I haven't bought anything from PiperLime I hear that if you need to return anything, the return shipping is paid for by them. They send the return packaging and payment with your shoes.

I rarely shop online for clothing. But then again, I rarely buy clothes for myself. Between childcare, bills, and W there simply isn't too much cash to toss around.

I don't just because I have a weirdly proportioned body (aka huge boobs) and HAVE to try stuff on. I did buy some maternity on ebay, but most of it ended up going to goodwill.

Being a "full figured mom" and I buy from Roamans and Lane Bryant. I've also picked up some good deals on Ebay for myself and Robert .

How is Romans now? A while back their stuff was so cheaply made it wasn't worth it.

I'm totally expecting to return some stuff! I even bought a couple of things in two sizes planning on returning the one that doesn't work. :bag I'm glad lots of you have had good experiences though. I haven't bought clothes for myself in FOREVER so I did take my *new* and *improved* (read: expanded) measurements so I hope that helps. :lol

Yes, but they give you free return labels and it is super easy. Usually if you read the reviews by other customers you can get the right size. They are definitely the best online shop for shoes I've used.

I order once in a while, never order pants/jeans. I've ordered tops and shoes (always worked out good). I shope the most at macys.com - I can always take the items back to the store and return them if they don't fit, saves me the hastle of repacking and mailing back. I've also ordered a jacket from overstock.com, shoes from newportnews.com, other sites I've used - kohl's, old navy, gap. I don't have favority place to shop from - whoever offers the cheapest shipping.
