Okay, it must be time for another "share your recipes" thread because I think we've been eating the same thing every week for about a month!! If I have hamburgers or spaghetti one more time I am going to go crazy! So... Please be charitable with your cold weather, warms-you-right-up dinner recipes before I have to be committed.

I've got a recipe for Pumpkin Soup. I'll have to steal it from my dh, as he's making it right now for dinner, and taking a batch to his work tommorrow.

My fave for a cold night is always soup and grilled cheese...lol... if I'm feeling lazy I just heat up some frozen or canned soup, put it in a bowl over brown rice, and grab a piece of buttered bread... I'm also a meatloaf lover, but the kids like it when we do the mini loaves in muffin tins...

Here are some recipes I have tried lately that are good:

http://allrecipes.com/recipe/garlic-chicken/detail.aspx
http://allrecipes.com/recipe/baked-ziti-i/detail.aspx
http://allrecipes.com/recipe/angel-chicken-pasta/detail.aspx (really good IMO but I prefered it when I cut up the chicken and sauteed it in olive oil and garlic in a saute pan and the added the sauce ingrediants and let simmer for 10min and then mixed in linguine)
http://allrecipes.com/recipe/chicken-enchiladas-ii/detail.aspx
http://allrecipes.com/recipe/creamy-au-gratin-potatoes/detail.aspx (Brian loves this and you could make it a main dish if you cut up ham in it. Oh, and I don't do the onions)

Do you have a crockpot? Stew or pot roast is always a hit here and pretty easy to throw together especially with one of those spice packets they sell at stores.

HTH!

Stew is good with crusty bread, grilled chicken with rice and veggies.
