View Full Version : help me expand my netflix queue LMS 11-14-2006, 11:22 AM my queue is getting pretty low. What have you seen lately that you loved? Tell me some good movies to add :) Mom of 2 11-14-2006, 11:32 AM The only movie I have seen lately is the Break Up. It was pretty good. We have seen kid movies from Hello Kitty to Elmo, but for adult movies the only one I have seen is the Break Up. Kate Mom to Patty and Tyler LMS 11-14-2006, 11:52 AM we saw the break up a few weeks ago and loved it! Kellie_MO5 11-14-2006, 12:07 PM What kind of movies do you like? We got LOST 1 & 2 on dvd through them, Click, Monster House (the kid movie), Poseidon.... I also like those PBS reality shows (colonial house, prarie house (or something like that) 1900 house, 1940's house, regency house... basically just them tossing a family or 2 "into the past" ... some of it is boring, other parts very interesting... I basically just look through their different genres and the new releases and see what looks good. I also love it because I can re rent ones that I've seen before and loved, and not worry about $$... ;) alowe 11-14-2006, 12:45 PM Man on Fire I really loved, Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning. Elizabethtown was cute. I will go through my movies tonight and see if we have anymore to add. KaisaG 11-14-2006, 01:09 PM "Lucky Number Slevin" is a great movie- on the same level as "Resevoir Dogs" so it's obviously NOT a happy-funny type... becky 11-14-2006, 01:55 PM did you all know that netflixs lets you add freinds to your list so you can see what everyone else is watching and what is in thier queue. I have several freinds in mine so when i dont know what to watch i just lok at what they have and when i look at what they have seen i can see how they rated it. Its awesome. I would love to add you guys to my fiends list if you interested. All we need to do is share each other's email that we use for netflix and it send out an invitation. so easy :) if you want to add me, the email address i use is california.momma@sbcglobal.net Kellie_MO5 11-14-2006, 02:04 PM Mine is Weatherlyfamily@aol.com Lynette 11-14-2006, 02:11 PM I did the same with TV shows on DVD because I hate starting up a show in the middle of the storyline but then by the time everyone says something is wonderful it is almost through with the season so we got caught up on the Sopranos, Lost, etc that way. Haven't watched a lot of movies lately, it took us 3 days to finish Cars but it was really funny!! LMS 11-14-2006, 03:30 PM What kind of movies do you like? Haven't watched a lot of movies lately, it took us 3 days to finish Cars but it was really funny!! omg, i'm addicted to tv shows on DVD. I have almost all the friends seasons on DVD and they may actually be one of my most prized posessions. LOL! We just did Boston Legal on DVD too. We used to watch Entourage on On Demand. Have you ever seen that? We LOVE IT meeg124 11-14-2006, 03:48 PM Failure To Launch Pirates Of The Carribean My Life So Far Anges Brown The Terminal The Family Stone Nanny McPhee Some of these are older movies but still good ones :) The email I use for Netflix is meeg124@yahoo.com Megan Lynette 11-14-2006, 04:56 PM No but I keep hearing Entourage is good so I will have to check it out! I forgot something else, I also used to look up Oscar winning movies because I kind of have this "policy" that if everyone says a movie is good and it wins awards I will check it out even if I don't think I will like it. Like that boxing movie with Hilary Swank and Clint Eastwood, totally not my thing but ended up being a GREAT movie! I also use IMDB.com to look up movies of my favorite actors that I might have missed. Like I have seen everything Ewan MacGregor has ever been in....even in the beginning when he used to do some naked scenes :D LMS 11-14-2006, 05:13 PM oooh, off to imdb ewan mcgregors old movie titles..... LOL Lynette 11-14-2006, 05:33 PM oooh, off to imdb ewan mcgregors old movie titles..... LMS 11-14-2006, 07:03 PM omg,i just added like a gazillion movies to my queue KaisaG 11-14-2006, 07:41 PM I loved "Lucky Number Slevin!!" My DH rented it- since it has Bruce Willis (and Josh Hartnett is ok too...) I watched it and really liked it. Parts of it are a little disturbing... but like I said... it's not a movie to watch if you're in the mood to laugh :) KaisaG 11-14-2006, 07:54 PM Emanuel and I won't watch Poseidon because his boss told us that it shows a baby drowning :( KaisaG 11-14-2006, 07:57 PM I have Da Vinci Code in my queue- but we haven't seen it. We were supposed to see it in the theatre the day it came out- but baby E kicked a whole in my water bag so I spent the night in labor instead! :babydust |
