View Full Version : I get it now...
So I finally picked up Twilight that Kim graciously loaned me months ago and am really getting into it. I don't think I will go as far as Kellie :giggle but I love the tension between Bella and Edward. I think I want to see the movie when I am done, but might just wait for it to be on DVD.

I'll never get 'it'.
I didn't think I would, but I'm loving it so far. I'm about half way through right now.

The books are awesome! Glad you are enjoying them so far.
At my best friend's baby shower yesterday, we were talking about it. Both she and her older sister and total addicts, too. Then, next thing you know, all of the teenage girls were at our table talking about it too:giggle Well, it is well liked by people of many different ages.

Not yet, but I'm sure I will tonight :D I'm a pretty slow reader so it takes me a while to get through things.

slow reader? nick started twilight weeks ago and isn't even close to being halfway through. lol. i got fed up because i wanted to read the series again so i picked it up a few days ago and am now halfway through new moon.
you know it's a good book when even my husband enjoys it!
yeah, I'm a slow reader, which is why I wasn't into reading for pleasure until recently. I could never keep up with reading assignments in school it was so frustrating! I'm on page 325 or so and have been reading for probably 5 hours I would guess?

that sounds pretty decent to me
reading for school is the worst. i love reading for pleasure.
I'm almost done with book #2, just about 50 pages left :bag I was up until 1:00am reading last night. I have to say that I really liked it, but I don't think it needed to be that long. The Jacob thing was predictable, and there was so much build up and unnecessary stuff. I'll still be picking up #3 tonight if John doesn't make too much fun of me.

I agree Sara it is long and drawn out. Don't know if I already said this but IMO #1 & #4 are the best...the 2nd and 3rd I can barely remember.

Yeah I didn't necessarily love #2 either - 3 was a little better and 4 was good too. I think 1 was the best.

I am almost done reading New Moon again. I'm reading the series again. I found myself getting so mad at Edward, it was ridiculous. I think its because I already knew what was going to happen and what his actions would do to Bella, but in the beginning of reading that book again, I wanted to reach through and smack him!
I brought eclipse to work just in case I had some 'down time' to read :giggle

i agree--#2 was not the best. #3 and 3/4 of #4 are my faves. i'm reading #3 again right now.
i agree venessa! many times i've tossed the book cursing at edward--just to pick it up and keep reading. :lol
