How refreshing that we "won't find this kind of PB in our cabinents at home" and that it is "only" sold in bulk to schools and other places for ingredients. So I won't sicken my kid making a pb sandwich but his school might???

It's the crackers with the peanut butter. My mom just bought some so will have to find out what to do. Guess return them to the store?

yes the recall is for the austin/keebler crackers, which have caused no illness thus far, but the "bulk pb" used to make crackers, which has sickened over 400 and killed 5, is also "sold to schools, nursing homes, restuarants, food co's." They "should" have already pulled/recalled the possible lots of contaminated pb but who knows... I just thought it strange that they seemed to be implying jars of PB were just fine so don't worry, when school kids, the elderly or others in nursing care, and those who eat at restaurants still could come in contact with (and obviously have at some point if the pb crackers haven't caused any illness and 5 have died) the tainted PB.

It is sort of strange they don't tell you what to do with the crackers. I'd say call up the co. and ask them what to do.

In that video they name the source company, Peanut Corporation of America.

Here is their website: http://www.peanutcorp.com/

Perhaps there may some enlightenment there.
