I am not an early decorater. Christmas starts earlier and earlier every year and probably next year they will show Frosty on TV before It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. I enjoy a shorter Christmas season, so we'll probably put the tree up 2 weeks before Christmas and it will come down the day after Christmas. Plus, like I said before, I'm sure Caden will be trying to climb the tree or continually rearrange all the ornaments or something. LOL

We usually wait until Thanksgiving to decorate. DS#1's birthday is 11/27, so we try to wait until after his birthday (unless he wants the decorations up beforehand).

we get our tree thanksgiving weekend and then work on getting it and the house decorated during the first week of Dec. We LOVE christmas and have a TON of decorations.

This year it'll all be decorated in time for my Cookie Lee Holiday Open House on the 8th and 9th! YAY!! :)

I want to start decorating for Xmas after Thanksgiving. I can't wait, Im already working on some crafty decorations for the tree. I am SOOOO looking forward to buying/decorating a tree with lots of lights! They make the tree SO pretty!! I'm sure that Baby E will totally stare at it for hours! I'm going to try and make some ornaments - but seeing that I have been craft-challenged lately... I'm hoping that I can make a play date to help me!

We want to try and decorate after thanksgiving but who know. almost all our ornaments boke last year so we need to either make new ones or buy some. We definately will have lights out this year so i'm excited.

I am excited that I got Brian to agree to no cheeseball decorations outside this year! Woo hoo! He loves all those goofy Wal-mart blow up decorations for the lawn and if it is animatronic, all the better! This year I want those big fat retro 70's colored lights on the house around the windows and doors, with icicle lights on the gutters, white lights on the picket fence with red bows on the posts, a REAL wreath on the door rather than the plastic one that yells at you and scares the crap out of us every year, and the tree in the front window :D

Ok, now I am getting hyped up about it....I think we have white light raindeer which I *might* let him put out if I am feeling nice....

thanks :) they are my favorite and they are not the typical all red chilis but instead they are rainbow so i think they are more fun and more original.

We get our tree the first week of Dec. and decorate the house. I also agree that Christmas comes earlier every year, but it is my favorite time of year.

First week of December here, as well. Or at least, that's when we start. It can be kind of a lengthy process :)
