I bought The Polar Express movie for Caden last night and we watched it 4 times today and each time he was completely enthralled while it was on. I would love to take him on a Christmas train ride this year. I looked at the websites for the Skunk Train and Roaring Camp, but wondering if anyone knows of any other holiday train activities going on this year. Caden is a huge train fan and we took him to a Day Out With Thomas earlier this year and he loved that. He is really showing an interest in Santa Claus and Christmas, so I think that a holiday train ride would be great!

We went there when Caden was about 18 months old and it was such a horrible experience that I have been too scarred from it to go back. J/K. Sort of. That was before we knew about all of Caden's sensory problems and he freaked out on the merry go round and we never even made it on a train. I'll probably try and take him there again soon, since he he so much better about that kind of stuff now.

I went on the Skunk Train as a child and Scott and I have gone on it a couple of times. It is a lot of fun, but I wouldn't take Caden on all day train trip like that. He would be done after the first hour. LOL

Yeah, you probably don't want to go into labor on that trip! BTW, Caden's birthday is February 13 :)

And mine!!! (YAY for Feb 13 bdays!)
If you just want a little train, they have one in the coddingtown mall. It's all decorated for Christmas and it's $1 per ride. He'll be able to see you the whole time; but you can't ride with him. And if you went during a weekday it probably wouldn't be too crowded so there wouldn't be tons of noise. Don't know if that's what you're thinking about though...
Have fun whatever you do! :)
