Got an Elmo TMX

After telling Brian there was no way we were paying the prices on Craigslist and seeing what Elmo TMX actually did on YouTube which I thought would make me nuts if I had to listen to it over and over, he happened to be at Target today with Alaina and turned the corner just as he saw a group of people running to the shelves he was standing next to where there was a handful of Elmos. Apparently they got in a shipment of 16 and he said that even though he had accepted that Alaina wasn't getting one this Christmas (he is the type who feels compelled to buy the hot new toy each season) that it was fate so he yoinked one off the shelf and got lots of dirty looks from people that didn't even have kids with them. Come on people, it is a KID'S toy and the kid is right there so you know it will actually be played with!

So wish Elmo luck that he doesn't meet the same fate as that annoying Furbie years ago! :lol

My BIL has bought Caden 4 (?) different Elmo's and feels bound and determined that he is going to get Caden a TMX for Christmas. I keep praying that he is unable to find one... the last thing we need is another talking, singing, obnoxious toy! I'm going to have to find some really loud and obnoxious dog toy, to give the BIL's dog, since his kids are grown up :lol

We got one for Amelia's birthday too.....and now it sits at the bottom of the toy box! Luckily my mom only paid the regular price :)

Caden has a drum set, that we bought him. It's actually not as bad as you think. I'd take that over Elmo any day :bump
