I rented this movie Friday night and then later watched it with my hb.
It's a Christian movie with Kurt Cameron that deals with their marriage issue and how they dealt with things.
For those couples who are having issues and think nothing can work I recommend this movie.
It opened our eyes of how we can make our marriage better.

I :loved Fireproof. It was our last date night movie we saw in the theater. We bought it and have yet to watch it again but I have hope it wasn't just a one time adoration :lol. While it definately mentions Scripture in some parts I think it really can be useful for non-christians as well.

I have friends who really liked it.
I'm not in a relationship so I'll pass. I also don't think I'd watch it anyway for the whole Christian aspect. I've heard it's not that bad, but still not my cup of tea.
I also heard that Kirk wouldn't kiss the actress playing his wife during the movie because she isn't his wife. I thought that was pretty cool.
It's on my Netflix Queue and in the mail to me as I type. :) We're not having issues, but with as many marriages that have crumbled around us I'm all for strengthening our marriage!

I think it helps any marriage or relationship even if your not having issues. Some people are really bothered by the Christian aspect and scriptures that is why I wanted to add that.
We are going to church to watch and discuss it tonight. The also have the journal that you can buy that was used in the movie. If you go to the website it tells you where to buy it.

I LOVE the Left Behind book series! ( I read the young teen ones as a freshman, and those were really good, too!) I own a few of the adult ones...used to be all of them, but some got lost in the move :(
