what i find super funny is that all these photos are so fake (meaning all the people in the pics were photoshoped in) :giggle

I live fairly close to there. I keep thinking it would be fun to have a membership there this summer because the pool has a water slide...not sure if my boys are old enough for it yet, though.

We had every intention of joining until we found out if was $635 to register a familoy of 6. $125/1st person $110/2nd and $100 per kid. Plus $190/mo, so they wanted $825 for the 1st month. Sorry, but no way! I tried to get them to waive the $400 reg for the kids but they would not budge.

So that's the water slide I see from the freeway.
I thought it was another Windsor Water works in Petaluma.

i would love to have signed the family up, but the pricing is insane! it is one seriously nice place though. i just wish they were more affordable.

They have some serious overhead with a big new building. I wonder how the price compares to the other health clubs in Petaluma.

One of DH's friends from work joined since he lives in Petaluma. He said it was the same price as Petaluma Valley Athletic Club where his family had been going before. I would want to join, but it's too far for us.

I think $125 for a memebership fee for 1 person is pretty typical, I think it was supposed to be $199 for us to join University of Sports, but they waived it. But a per-person fee, with so many darn kids, it adds up really fast lol!

Looks really nice. But...I don't join gym's because they are too expensive and I end up not using them. I can't tell you how much money I donated to 5th St. Fitness years ago :bag

I was thinking they would do a hard core membership drive since times are hard and they are huge and new.

I actually like the little gym near them since it is women only and has a great day care. It is also only $70 a month no membership fee.

Which one is that? Elan Fitness?

Becky, I see what you mean about the pictures on the homepage! They are like "artists renderings" not real photos. hee hee

Yikes!!! I remember years ago (maybe 10?) I only paid $30 a month when Golds Gym was in Petaluma. I should have just kept the membership!

I was going to join just for myself, but the price seemed kind of high, so I am hoping it will go down a bit.

I am a member of 24 hour downtown. Can't beat $25 a month for one. ;)

I picture them right along side of the Athletic Club---but even that is too high for me.
