Anyone have any gift ideas for a 7 month old baby's first Christmas? We've already gotten him the Fisher Price animal train- which he loves (yes I gave it to him already!) add-on animals for the train, a Nike sweat suit, and the Tiny Love Froggle bath toy- but I want to get him at least one or two more things. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure of the name or brand, but what about those learning toys that have stages and grow with the child?
I know my mom has a toy that at first, the baby kicks it, then the next stage is sitting with the toy, and then the next is the toy turns into a table for standing.

I am sending my cousin a custom handmade photo ornament set. One of them is the first professional photo of her. The ornament says Ava Mickaela Mosby's First Christmas 2006. The other 3 ornaments are progressive photos through out the year and have 2006 on them. I am also sending a hand drawn portrait of a georgeous photo of her (same as baby's first Xmas ornament), and a recent hand drawn portrait of mommy with baby, and a recent hand drawn portrait of daddy with baby.

They are first time parents and their baby is my aunt and uncle's first grandchild.

My aunt & uncle are building a new home so for their housewarming I may send them a photo throw with their new grandaughter on it. Sorry, I tend to wander out into left field sometimes. I gotta get out more, lol!

LOL! Alaina is getting the animal train too! I know it says it is for 6+mo so young for her but when she saw it at Target we just couldn't pull her away from it!

Alaina got the ball popper and still likes it, she tries to stuff all sorts of things in ther and nothing ever gets stuck and it doesn't hurt if she sticks her hand in there.

lynette: Brendan is in the "I can shove my entire left arm in the ballpopper" stage too. We've never gotten any toys stuck in there, but we've had lego people, little people and easter eggs in it :)

Oh my goodness! Glad to hear V is not the only one stuffing things down that darn ball popper! The noise drives me nuts!
But it's cute to watch her crawl with the balls in her hands.

Oh yeah, Alaina likes to fill it so full of blocks that she can push them with one hand and they all spill out the top and slide back down :)

kaisa: We are going this weekend! See ya there!! :lol

Becky: The problem is once he got past the "HOLY SHIT!!! IM SCARED OF THAT THING!" stage, he figured out that he could press the red button like 55 times to make the music change, and it would drive me NUTS. So one day (in a fit of despiration) i took the batteries out. LOL
