:yeah
Since it sounds like it's going to be kind of a long evening, you might want to consider a nice pair of pants or khakis and a nice shirt - but definitely something comfortable!

If it was me, I'd wear jeans and a nice shirt - but mostly because jeans are all I own :giggle. But, in all reality, I find that jeans can really be worn almost anywhere as long as they look nice and you dress them up a bit with a nice sweater or shirt :D

When it comes to business (am I correct you are attending for your photography biz?), I abide by the guideline, "the less skin the better". Cover up! Be conservative.
Long pants (not shorts or capris)
closed-toe shoes with a heel, like loafers or pumps. No sneakers or sandals.
long sleeved shirt without too much cleavage
and/or put on a cardigan or jacket.
A great easy, classic, comfortable (!) look is loafers, slacks, and a sweater set.
Have fun! :D

I think everyone already covered it.... Biz casual is what I always wore to seminars.

I think it's all about who you'll be with and why you're there, and less about where you'll be. You'd want to dress the same even if it the seminar were being held at Pizza Hut.
Business casual. This will be something you can do networking at, so you want to look like someone that other photographers and such will want to work with. You want your clothes to be comfortable, but look good. Nothing flashy - you don't want to take any attention away from the purpose of being there. Not just jeans and a shirt, or open toed shoes (unless they're like, peep toe heels or something) because you want to show that you're taking it seriously.

I think I am going to wear my darkest pair of jeans since they are the most comfy and sadly actually will look better than my black pants. Then i will wear one of my purple tops with a cami under. Probably the one you picked out for me ;) I have a couple nice dress shirts but i know wont be comfy in a shirt with a jacket and I am thinking my sweaters will be way to casual so i am going to go for the long sleeve shirt and hope its not too cold. Shoes, hum i dont know what to do about shoes. I usually wear my super clean/new looking chucks or leather dress up sandals but i am thinking i will have to find my black socks so i can wear my nice shoes or boots. you know what will be the first thing coming off when this thing is over LOL

Bring a jacket as it might be chilly at night or they might have the ac on super high.
Have a safe trip and a great time.
