View Full Version : Movies that make you cry surmick 04-03-2009, 08:51 AM OK, so Amelia's new favorite show is Toy Story 2, she is constantly saying "Toy", "Toy", when she wants to see it. My biggest issue is that there is this really sad part and it makes me get teary every time. It is one of her favorites because they jump into a pile of leaves. Are there any kid movies that make you cry every time you watch it? It is sad because the mom kangaroo lost her Joey and at the end she helps the girl get home and the girl is so excited to show her parents the talking roo, but she turns around and it is gone. Then the end is a horrible sappy song with the kangaroo hopping away in the bush looking for her joey :( Makes me sad just thinking about it. I haven't seen Toy Story 2 yet, and now I am not sure I can watch it! I know I have seen Dot and the Kangaroo, but I don't specifically remember it. I am going to have to rent it now and jog my memory! Movies that make me cry... hummm... * I SOBBED at the "critical point" (won't spoil it!) in Stranger Than Fiction. * I haven't seen the movies, but I SOBBED at Old Yeller, The Yearling, and Where the Red Fern Grows. * There is a point in The Last Unicorn where the "wench" Molly challenges the Unicorn, "Where have you been! Where have you BEEN!" the pain and regret in her voice gets me every time... * It's been years but I would always cry at that Damn GE light bulb commercial with the Pachelbel Cannon playing over it! :irked * Just about any "Carmina Burana" moment.
