OK, so Amelia's new favorite show is Toy Story 2, she is constantly saying "Toy", "Toy", when she wants to see it. My biggest issue is that there is this really sad part and it makes me get teary every time. It is one of her favorites because they jump into a pile of leaves.
Are there any kid movies that make you cry every time you watch it?

Where is the sad part in TS2? Funny that Amelia loves it for the leaf jumping party and is oblivious to the part that makes you want to chuck it.

I have never heard of Dot and the Kangaroo.
It is not a very good movie for kids, but we watched it when I was little and I am still traumatized by how sad it was:

Well I am sure Amelia can't even comprehend the scene because she has never had that kind of loss yet... :hug
Why was it sad?
It is sad because the mom kangaroo lost her Joey and at the end she helps the girl get home and the girl is so excited to show her parents the talking roo, but she turns around and it is gone. Then the end is a horrible sappy song with the kangaroo hopping away in the bush looking for her joey :( Makes me sad just thinking about it. I can find you the clip on youtube if you want :D

No, No, No, I don't need to get teary anymore than I already do. That sounds pretty sad though.

:yeah That bitch ditching her cowgirl like that! I haven't seen Toy Story 2 yet, and now I am not sure I can watch it!
I know I have seen Dot and the Kangaroo, but I don't specifically remember it. I am going to have to rent it now and jog my memory!
Movies that make me cry... hummm...
* I SOBBED at the "critical point" (won't spoil it!) in Stranger Than Fiction.
* I haven't seen the movies, but I SOBBED at Old Yeller, The Yearling, and Where the Red Fern Grows.
* There is a point in The Last Unicorn where the "wench" Molly challenges the Unicorn, "Where have you been! Where have you BEEN!" the pain and regret in her voice gets me every time...
* It's been years but I would always cry at that Damn GE light bulb commercial with the Pachelbel Cannon playing over it! :irked
* Just about any "Carmina Burana" moment. It shows up as the inspirational music in several movies. I can think of "Excalibur" and "The Doors" for two.
