View Full Version : Eye Associates Sebastopol My3sonsplus1 12-14-2006, 01:53 PM Anyone have any experience taking their kids there? We are normally a Kaiser family (where you can self refer to the eye dept.) but it looks like circumstances are leaving us with getting Joseph seen through Lions Club or Eye Associates for his strabismus/vision problems right now. meeg124 12-14-2006, 02:51 PM Lisa - I'm not sure if this is the place that Scott went to or not. Do you know the name of the doctor? If it is the place that Scott went, I would not recommend them. As far as I know, there is only one pediatric ophthalmalogist in town and his name is Mark Jacobson and he is with North Bay Eye Associates on Dutton Avenue. I have seen him and Caden saw him, when I thought that he had a strabismus. His office staff is pretty run of the mill but he is a great doctor, kinda goofy but he has two sons and seems to relate to kids well. Megan My3sonsplus1 12-14-2006, 03:03 PM All the school nurse told me was it is "Eye Associates in Sebastopol- 823-7628" apparently they are the only ones taking the type of insurance we currently have for the kids. I got a name for another dr at a bday party last year (when I didn't need the info., I think it may have been dr. Jacobson now that you mention it?!) and I have since forgot it. I have an email into the mom but she has yet to have gotten back to me. jellybeanmichelle 12-14-2006, 03:04 PM We were going to be seeing Dr Jacobson if her tear ducts didn't close, they did so, we ended up not seeing him. I know Dr.Brunns (sp?) in Rohnert Park does vision therapy. |
