Wow. Obvious bio-hazard issues aside, how classless and repugnant is this nasty teacher??

Gosh, that is just all sorts of classy both on the teachers and admins part... :jaw2 I mean really she already picked it up some how... If it was some sort of recurring issue throw the poop away and send home the note/make a phone call/tell the principal minus the "evidence"...

You know if this happened to my kid, I would not be emailing the school to get an answer. I would marching down there, poop bag in hand and demanding some answers. Did they just send their son back to that classroom? I think the parents are just about as moronic as the teacher...

That is what I was wondering too. Even though I have no vehicle and kiddos in tow there is no way in hell an email would suffice or that I would allow a week to go by. If the school was closed for the day I would be there 20 minutes before it opened for the day waiting to talk to admin! And yeah one of the first things I wondered is did they send him back to school while they waited for admin to respond????

Good point, that thought itched my brain too.

Wow, what a crazy thing to do. I can't believe the school took so long to deal with the situation.. In terms of the parents, I am not surprised that they have not been more aggressive. Many parents don't realize how much power they have--they simply don't understand the system--some are fearful of making waves. If it's a small town and she's the only K teacher they may be fearful of what kickin' up a shitstorm may to to their kid.

:yeah Step it up and stand up for your kid! That is horrifying! It makes me livid and it's not my kid! It does seem like they are just letting admin put it on the back burner and that is just not ok!

I think they are choosing to be very passive/aggressive about it... I'm sure it was the parents that contacted the media, not the school. They seem to be able to pick up a phone and tell someone about it, so they can't at least call the school? I just have no respect for people that choose to not advocate for their children.

I know homeschooling is not for everyone but if the only teacher in town thinks it is okay to be sending hazardous waste home with you child in a ziploc that may be an avenue you need to seriously consider... homeschooling doesn't have to happen between the hours of 8 and 3. I cannot wrap my mind around how anyone besides I guess the teacher would feel this was acceptable let alone appropriate so you'd think if they "started something" they would have had plenty of people in the community to "back them up". I some times have a hard time standing up for my kiddo moreso because I am not sure how much I should let him experience "life" and how much hovering I should do but poop coming home is most certainly not a normal part of the growing up process that "has to be conquered eventually".

I can't see the video...but just the thought of crap being sent home with my child.....oh you better believe I'd be there the second I was able, and I'd be giving them a piece of my mind, as well as returning that bag of poop to the desk of the admin!!!!

A teacher sent home human feces in a ziplock bag, in the backpack of a kindergartner. With a note that said "found this turd on my classroom floor" (or something like that). The parents emailed the school and haven't heard back a week later.

Was it a kid that pooped on the floor a lot? Not that it matters.

They didn't say that in the video... nothing about why it happened, that I heard.

Well, the teacher is obviously disturbed and the parents are either terrified of the teacher or just plain lazy. I had a neighbor that had a kid my age that pooped in their yard. It was so disturbing because he was atleast 7. But he was also missing a few screws. Perhaps the teacher should be getting the kid help not sending his poop back.
