Sat, May 2: Vintage Rose or Flora Tour and Rose and Native Plant Sale
Discover a treasure trove of vintage roses and historic and native plants growing in Santa Rosa's Rural Cemetery, many of which were planted a century ago in memory of a departed loved one. Walk through Santa Rosa's oldest cemetery to view the many varieties of antique roses and hear fascinating and heart-warming stories about these "living antiques."
Or take a tour of the flora, planted and natural, and hear about their symbolism Roses opening and closing. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Free admission - donations appreciated.
Time: 10:00am - 11:00am
*Tours last about 1 hour and leave every 20 minutes from the Franklin Gate

Here's your opportunity to purchase many of the gorgeous vintage roses that grow in the Rural Cemetery, which have been propagated from cuttings and will be offered for sale in one gallon containers. A select variety of native plants will also be available.
When I drove past, it looked like they had more than one tour, not just at 10:00.
