Our Mechanic SUX!!!

so a while back i said our check engine light came on. I sent DH over to United Auto since it was right down the street. Well those guys can't seem to fix the damn car. $300+ later and a week after we took it in the check engine light came on again and the brakes that they supposedly fixed were messed up. we had to wait a month to take it in because we had no money to pay the bill again. So we take it in and there goes another $200+. Now its just 2 weeks later and the damn light is on again and the brakes are still not fixed. WTF!!! I don't think we should have to pay again because this guy can't fix the car.

DH is taking it in tomorrow i think but come on now. i think its time for a new mechanic

I have a great mechanic but he only works on Japenese cars, if anyone wants his info I can pass it along.

I have been going to him since I had a car and went to school with his son. Dh's family has gone to him forever. He owns his own shop which is on his property where he lives. He is honest and will tell you whether or not he can fix it, other places to take it, or if it is worth fixing.
