So I decided last night at like 7pm that I am making cookies for ds's bus drivers, teacher and aides. So now I have cookies made but what do I put them in? I also got some TJ's Natuural Mint Cocoa (yum!!) for the two aides, and I have some loose leaf teas I was going to make up for the teacher but no cutesy/neat container for that. So any ideas (and where to finds) for some type of container/wrapper to put the cookies and loose tea that I could get tonight?? I am not making a huge fleet of cookies per recepient, probably around 10 each maybe or less (cookies till cooking to I am unsure of actual yeild) if they won't fit in the container/wrapper I end up finding, so it doesn't need to be a huge "thing". The tea/cocoa is meant as the "main dish" and the calorie rich cookies the side dish :)

have no creative ideas at the moment about home made containers other than using baskets but we give cookies every yr to people we don;t buy gifts for and I got our tins at Target... they were like $4 each which is the cheapest I have found in years!

Definately go to joann's. The one in RP of the Expressway is so much better than the one in SR and they have lots more stuff there.

Man, I just bought tins at Joann's the other day it was only 40% off. Oh well.
Lisa - since you're not giving away dozens of cookies to one person, you might want to try the Christmas treat bags. I got, I think, two dozen in a package at Joann's and they were regularly $2.99. The Joann's in Rohnert Park had a really great selection of tins ealier in the week, all different sizes and colors.

Dollar store in RP has very cute tins... xmas theme... maybe 6 inches around. $1 obviously. Then in SR at Party America (near Cost Plus) they have xmas gift boxes that are like 6x6 for around $2.xx on sale.

The RP Dollar Tree Has the $1 tins mentioned before, if you package food in the tins I recommend putting in a wax paper or parchment paper lining, and sealing the tin with that press n seal.
They also have these cute little present boxes with lids. The little present boxes are little 4.1/4" x 4 1/4" x4 1/4". They are satin with a ribbon & bow. They are of course $1, and we got 25 Christmas themed Cello bags at Dollar Tree for guess what $1, and they came with cute little red metallic ties. We filled the bags with both peanut butter & chocolate fudge, then put them into the little present boxes.
