Not yet because my lovely dh is giving me a hard time about where to storage it when is not in used, so I need to find a place for it:rolleyes ....For now I am using a friend's machine.
I have this old skirt that I love and doesn't fit anymore:( , and what I want is to buy some nice fabric and copy the pattern/style so I can wear it this summer:tongue

I was thinking about going. Its hard though because Dustin usually gets home at 6/6:15 so I would have to jet over there really quick.

I wish I could go, but John is working in Lafayette this week and I doubt he will be home in time. If by some miracle he is, I am in too :D

Oh, that would be so fun. I really wish I had time to sew... or do any project for that matter! My mom bought me a sewing machine for my birthday three years ago and it's still in the box!! I keep renewing the warranty "just in case." :lol

Did you end up going Brooke?
No, I didn't. My little sister ended up surprising the family with her presence in California :D so we were spending time together :thumb

bumping this up for this month. Next meeting is this Wed. the 24th I am nesting (but have no desire to do the house tidying thing) and want to see if I can figure out how to make a itty bitty diaper (from the dozens of prefolds I have in a storage tote) from a tutorial I saw today that was touted as "super easy" no serger required. If I go, and you do too, don't mind me if you see me in a literal puddle of tears of frustration. I'll be the dork that doesn't even know if the machine is on...

Oh, Lisa, I'm the same! I've never used a sewing machine before. I think it would be a nice evening... I need new pillow covers for the throws on our sofa. Seems like sewing a square would be easy enough..... right??
