At what age do you take toddlers to fireworks?.. this year again we are skipping it since Dylans bedtime is 830 and I think he would be scared by the noise..... *We can see the Windsor fireworks from our court and upstairs bedroom windows in case the bang wakes him up we could always step outside to see them*

We took Ben and Henry two years ago, so, Henry was 14 months and Ben was 2.5. They loved them and Ben still remembers the smiley face one we saw. We hadn't talked about them in a year or so and he brought it up today because they are going tonight with Phil. I have to stay home with Charlie, but we will probably take him next year if we aren't camping.

We didn't get right under the fireworks but we were pretty close....

Kaylyn was a baby for her first 4th, so we skipped. I was worried about the noise and cold. Last year, I was out of town so she was with my parents and they didn't watch. Tonight we went to Windsor's and she enjoyed it. We'll be taking her to Santa Rosa's tomorrow, too. She's 2½.

Lucas has never seen them.

We took Caden the first time when he was 3. I think the noise would have been too overwhelming prior to that but he LOVED the fireworks and asked to go everyday for awhile after that. I put a bunch of the pictures that Scott took in the a little photograph album for him and he still likes to look at that.

Well, we went to Sebastopol tonight! We didn't go TO the high school -- crowds are just not our scene. Instead, we drove to the end of Morris Street by the Community Center and parked in the dirt lot behind, at the trailhead for the Laguna.

It was close enough to see the fireworks, but not too much in the crowds, though there were plenty 'nuff people around.

Natalie had a lot of fun running around in the little field there, but she was scared of the fireworks! She buried her face in my neck and got all still like a baby fawn or rabbit!! She was a trooper though, she didn't *freak out*.

We tried to leave early before the finale, but we got caught with everyone else leaving. It took 20 minutes just to drive the length of Morris Street!

We attempted to go to Sebastopol ......we parked, and then Trianna threw a flaming fit......so we left, and didn't even get out of the car........

We go every year... well, Matt and most of the kids do... Alyssa's first I skipped (she was 3 mos) and Luke's first he was a day old, so he and I didn't go then, either, but the other kids.. Jess was 5 mos and E was 6 mos and they did fine... and we'll be going with Genna tonight (9 mos)

We went to the windsor fireworks last night and Jackson (15 months) loved them! He wasn't scared at all. We just made sure he got an extra long afternoon nap since he would be up late....They did a great finale @ the windsor show that had J signing for "more" after it was all done.

last year wyatt watched them and he was...8 months. he fell asleep in the middle of them. this year at 21 months he loved them. i was nervous he would be afraid, but he totally sat there mesmerized and when they were over he clapped and asked for more.
