My step dad bought these sugar free life saver hard candies to chomp on at work when he got stressed. They didn't settle well with him and he thought he was just special like that. Well miss shelsea found the candies and went nuts. After just having a couple she ended up having the same result as her Papi. Same thing happened to Myah and Kayla too. I find it really funny that this would happen after having something like Sugar Free Candy :lol

omg somebody who i'm on an october board with was saying that anyone who is constipated should try eating a sugar free klondike bar. there's got to be something to it, right?

the fake sugar does a number on you. I think splenda is the biggest offender.

Sugar alcohol is the culprit. Your small intestine doesn't absorb sugar alcohol the way it does regular sugar does and too much of it has a laxative effect.

It reminds me of the lowfat chips a few years back...it had some ingredient that gave people leaky stools :giggle ....and there was a warning on the bag.

OMG -- OLEAN! Better known as... OH, NO! (Hope there's a bathroom close by!)
From http://www.olean.com/
It doesn't "break down" when subjected to high temperatures so it can be used in cooking and frying. But, like the insoluble fiber in apples, corn and bran, it is not digested by the body and passes through unchanged.:puke

There is a version of Pringles that still uses it - I think the Lays version are gone.
