Birthday party craft idea

I'm planning Caden's 4th birthday party for next month and I need a craft idea for 3-5 year olds. Last year we did foam door hangers and none the kids wanted to participate. The adults had fun with it though. :lol

Also, Caden wants a Blues Clues theme party, so any party ideas for this? I was thinking we would definitely have to have "clues" but I'm so not creative, so I'm having a hard time tying everything together.

at eli's we did stained 'glass' hangings from joanns... seemed to go over well... we also did a pinata (imagine the little thingie over the n..lol) you could do a blues clues scavenger hunt, with cut out paw prints and a clue written on the back (maybe in groups and a parent per group to help)

Megan on the nickjr website nickjr.com they have sections for each of their shows and ideas for a show themed party. Check it out. Lucca had a Dora party and I found that site really helpful.

They even have recipes for character cakes and cookies. We made the Dora cake and cookies last year and they turned out really cute. The cake looked just like Dora. I will see if I took a picture of it.

When is his birthday? Maybe you could have the kids make valentine's for their parents and buy like Blue's Clues stikers or something...

You can do a Blues clues style clue/treasures hunt, just like the show. You could do color pages and have them color the clues. You could have them make their own blues clues masks. I will try to post more ideas in a few days when I feel better...
