Did it wake anyone else up last night? I don't ever remember there being so many small quakes in the area. Yes, one every once in a while but isnt this the 3rd one in like 2 months? Its starting to scare me! :eek

It looks like it was centered in the same area as that one a few months ago that I did feel here in RP which is weird because that one was the same size and the dogs went kind of nuts but this one was while we were all sleeping and the lazy bums didn't even bark! LOL!

Dustin is a heavy sleeper. We cosleep and Ava was cuddling with me at the time. I took my foot and started shaking him so he would wake up. Apparently he thought me shaking him was part of the earthquake and jumped out of bed going "where's Ava, where's Ava? That was a big one, bigger then the last!" I had to calm him down and tell him that I was shaking him. It was funny.

Yes, I felt it. I have been near the epicenter of both major California earthquakes....the 1987 Santa Cruz earthquake (I was living in SC at the time) and I had just returned from Mexico and was staying with my brother during the Northridge earthquake. There was absolutely no 'pre' equakes with those, the shaking was immediate and violent. I have always joked that if it happened a 3rd time (that I was living near the eipicenter of a earthquake over 6.9) that I would need to move out of California completely, since I probably *don't* have 9 lives like a cat. :).....

I was in SC for the Santa Cruz quake too. I was only like 3, but my mom said the shaking was so horrible that she took me and my brother out into the courtyard of our apt complex (my dad was overseas at the time) b/c she was sure the building was going to collapse on top of us.

I Was dreaming that I was swaying in a hammock and then I realised it was my intire bed that was swaying. I woke my DH up and we layed there just rocking back and forth. It seemed like it lasted for a while :( The last two quakes have been the first ones I have ever felt that actually shook the whole house. It's starting to scare me too!

I woke up at the end of the quake because the windows in our house were rattling. I never wake up for night quakes probably because I usually think it is the dog jumping on the bed. It really scared me because Jacob is visiting my IL's in the east bay and I thought what if it was a big San Fran quake and he was closer to it?

I felt it to. Part of me thought I was imagining it.
But, then my bunny, Claire, started thumping, so I knew it was an EQ.

Oh my god what a relieve I actually started to think there was a ghost in my house lol. The rattling of my closet doors woke me up first thing I though, was there was a ghost lol I looked at Victor and he was "I think it was an earthquake" .I told him are you sure? Yeah I'm sure he said (yeah right I know he thought about the ghost too lol ). I better stop watching those scary flicks lol.

LMAO! That is funny!

I really was out of it because all you RP mom's seemed to have felt it a lot but Alaina has been waking up a lot at night since her fever so I probably just figured she wanted boob and whipped it out :D Am I trained or what?!

We totally felt it. Our bedrooms are all on the third floor, and the building is old so we have a fear that the upper floors won't last through too much trauma. Not to mention my son's awards, and toys fell off of one of his shelves. We both jumped out of the bed and ran to the kids room to check on them. My 5.5 year old daughter yelled Andrew did it, because they have a bunk bed and occasionally he tends to shake it a bit. He slept right through it. I don't mind living in California I just want to buy a single level home!
